Are you making customised jewelry?

A customised piece might be possible, depending on our capacity, time and material.

How do i take care and clean my jewelry?
Even though the string of the macrame pieces are very strong and good quality, you still want to take care of it in order to make sure that your jewelry has a long life.
- Do not expose your jewelry extensively to water
- Make sure you open and close your jewelry items with care and not with force
- Clean the brass regularly
The brass items can get less shiny over time, which is not a problem. Either you like the vintage style and leave it as it is or you can clean your items regularly with soap or lime/salt. Rub the pendants/beads and wash it afterwards with lukewarm water.
Is your jewelry waterproof?
You can wear our jewelry in the water, but it will definitely break earlier than if you choose not to.
Especially take good care when wearing in salty waters (ocean), the brass might get greenish over time.
What kind of material do you use?
Most of our golden items (pendants, beads) are made out of brass, which does not include Nickel.
We also have a few items which are 24k gold plated.
Other then that we are using natural gemstones from mother earth.
We are also using vegan polyester macrame string. Most of our jewelry comes with the high quality strings of 'Linhasita'. They are waxed on the outside which supports the string to last longer.
Are your jewelry pieces adjustable?
All of the macrame jewelry pieces are adjustable in size with a sliding knot. That means you can adjust the necklace short or longer. Same with anklets and bracelets.
Some rings are also adjustable but you can find more information with each product.
Most of the rings are available in many different sizes. We are using the USA Ring-Measurement.

How can i Exchange jewelry pieces? (Ring Sizes)
Exchanging jewelry pieces is possible. For example if you ordered are ring which doesn't fit you and you want to exchange it to another size.
For this you can send your Ring back to us (Address provided on your package) and write a note that you want to exchange this Ring Size 4 to a Ring Size 5. Make sure you write down your order number and the name with which you ordered on our page, so we can check your order.
The important thing is: You are responsible for the package and the shipping costs. If the package doesn't arrive or the product is damaged, we cannot exchange or refund the money.
If you want to exchange a piece you would need to pay the shipping fees extra. For this you can write us directly here or on Social Media.

The jewelry is absolutely not made for children!
Please keep children away from @gemstone.journey pieces, as they contain small items which can be swallowed by little children.
